Beta testing allows a small group of users to try new features in Kindara before they're available to the general public. They provide feedback about their experience that helps us identify, diagnose, and resolve issues to improve Kindara and make it the best app it can be.
Who can be a beta tester
Anyone with an active Kindara account and compatible device is welcome to join, whether you've been using Kindara for a few days or 10 years!
Beta testing is free to participate. We invite testers on a volunteer basis, so compensation isn't provided for participating.
How beta testing works
Beta testers are invited to install the beta version of the app. The beta version is connected to our server, so you can use your usual Kindara account and your data will be available and synced to the server as usual.
- iPhone users install the TestFlight app then install the beta app from there.
- Android users install the beta app from the Google Play Store.
Once the beta app is installed, simply resume logging your data normally. If you experience any unexpected behavior, report the issue to us immediately so we can investigate.
We appreciate long-term beta testers so they can get used to the process, but they can leave beta testing whenever they want.
What to expect in the beta app
The beta version is in the testing phase, so it may contain bugs and may not function the same as the public version.
Kindara syncs your data to the server every time a change is made. As long as your account is synced with the servers, your data is safe. If you’d like to check your data, sign in to the Kindara Web App with your Kindara email address and password to see if all your data appears there. If anything is amiss, contact us at support@kindara.com before doing anything else.
